Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Pro Bin Hire. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Service Overview

Pro Bin Hire provides skip bin hire services for waste removal across Melbourne. Services are subject to availability and operational areas.

2. Booking and Confirmation

• All bin hire bookings must be confirmed via phone, email, or online booking.
• Confirmation is subject to availability and payment of the agreed hire fees.

3. Hire Period

• The standard hire period is seven (7) days, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• If the bin is retained beyond the agreed hire period, you will be charged $50 per week (or part thereof) until the bin is collected or returned.
• Extensions must be requested prior to the end of the hire period; otherwise, late fees will automatically apply.

4. Payment Terms

• Full payment for bin hire and waste disposal services is required as per the booking confirmation.
• Payments can be made via website, bank transfer, phone, or email.
• Failure or refusal to pay may result in:
  • Suspension of bin collection/delivery
  • Retrieval of our property (the bin) without notice
  • Additional fees for recovery and/or legal action

5. Ownership and Right to Retrieve Equipment

• All bins supplied remain the property of Pro Bin Hire at all times.
• In the event of non-payment or refusal to pay, Pro Bin Hire reserves the right to retrieve its equipment from the site.
• We are not obligated to remove or dispose of any waste contained in the bin if retrieval occurs due to non-payment.

6. Customer Responsibility for Waste

• You are responsible for the lawful disposal of waste placed in the bin.
• If Pro Bin Hire retrieves the bin due to non-payment, any waste remaining in the bin or on-site is your responsibility.
• Pro Bin Hire assumes no liability for waste not collected due to non-payment.

7. Delivery and Pickup

• Delivery and pickup times are estimates only and may vary based on demand and weather conditions.
• Customers must ensure the delivery site is accessible and safe.
• Bins must not be moved after placement without prior consent.

8. Waste Restrictions

You may not place hazardous, illegal, or prohibited materials in the bin.

The following materials are prohibited:

• Hazardous waste (e.g., asbestos, chemicals)
• Liquids (e.g., paints, oils)
• Gas cylinders
• Tyres (unless arranged separately)
• Tree stump & logs

A surcharge may apply for non-compliance. Pro Bin Hire reserves the right to refuse, remove, or charge for any prohibited waste. If Pro Bin Hire found any prohibited/hazardous waste in the bin, then any charges that may occur due to the disposal, the customer will be liable for it.

9. Access and Site Requirements

• You must provide safe and clear access for the delivery and collection of bins.
• Pro Bin Hire is not liable for delays or additional fees due to restricted access, parked vehicles, or unsafe conditions.

10. Responsibility for the Skip Bin

• The hirer is responsible for the bin during the hire period.
• Damage to bins (beyond normal wear and tear) may result in additional charges.
• The bin must not be overfilled above the rim for safe transport.

11. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery for a full refund.
• Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee.
• Refunds, if applicable, will be issued at Pro Bin Hire’s discretion and may be subject to administrative fees.

12. Liability

• Pro Bin Hire is not liable for damage to driveways, property, or landscaping  (customer must ensure safe access).
• You indemnify Pro Bin Hire against any claims arising from your use of our services, including non-payment or improper waste disposal.

13. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
• Any disputes will be resolved under Victorian law and local courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Updated terms will be posted on our website.
